Abbey Lettings Policy
INTRODUCTION
The purpose of The Abbey is to encourage personal healing and development through self-enquiry, spiritual practice and transformational learning. We welcome individuals and groups on retreats, workshops, seminars and conferences which support this overall purpose.
We have a policy of welcoming groups exploring a wide range of spiritual and religious traditions, as well as groups involved in organisational or management development and training which have personal development as their focus.
New hirers are asked, where possible, to arrange a pre-meeting at the Abbey via the administrator (admin@theabbbey.uk.com) to meet the community and discuss mutual needs and requirements.
GROUP ROOM AVAILABILITY
The Abbey will try to meet users’ preferences in the allocation of group rooms, but consideration will be given to the impact of any gathering on other users of The Abbey when allocating rooms for hire.
RESIDENTIAL ROOM AVAILABILITY
The Abbey can accommodate up to 19 guests in 13 bedrooms using the Guest House and the main building. On occasion preference may need to be given to groups that have participants willing to share accommodation. Extra charges may apply to the single use of a twin bedroom.
