Ways of being here
Our intention is to provide hospitality for all who wish to visit The Abbey and are open to self enquiry, community and spiritual growth. There are various ways to come here:
Volunteers Wanted
Could you spare a few hours to help out at The Abbey? We are looking for people who could commit to a few hours voluntary work each week and/or individuals we could call upon from time-to-time to help out on specific occasions. The work would include light cleaning, washing-up and general support around events and residential groups.
In return, we will provide a vegetarian lunch and plenty of tea and biscuits. For volunteers able to make a regular/ongoing commitment, we can also offer free entry to our Log Fire Evening Talks and possibly a free place on one of The Abbey’s Rest & Renewal Retreats.

- Come to our monthly three day Rest and Renewal Retreats
- Come on a personal retreat (subject to available places).
Coming with a group or for a significant celebration - contact us for further information and prices
- Hire a room for the day for your courses, meetings or workshops, with a delicious vegetarian lunch and refreshments.
- Hire the Guest House and rooms in the main house for a residential group (maximum 19 people, with some sharing).
- Hire The Abbey for a wedding reception, naming ceremony or significant celebration.

- Take on specific responsibilities as a post holder (as a volunteer, paid employee and/or long term resident), subject to the needs of the Abbey and skills offered.
